Available here is a Gruen Day-Night “Jump Hour” watch. It measures 36mm and is currently on a generic faux gold bracelet. It features the Gruen 510 manual wind movement.
This watch is interesting to me as it features a complication that occurs every 12 hours. At 6am or 6pm, the indices of the dial switch from black (day time), to luminous green (night time). Of course the original luminous material for the green section is long since dead, but the green still is there!

Note: the dial reads “RA Swiss RA” which implies the index wheel is lumed with Radium-226. If you ever break the crystal or otherwise handle the insides of the dial side, be sure not to ingest the highly dangerous luminous material. Wash your hands and don’t scrape off the lume!
Opinion:
Definitely an oddity watch wise. Most day complications occur every 24 hours, so the 12 hour variant happening at 6 instead of 12 is a convo starter to say the least. Its a stylish watch suitable for anyone, male or female. This watch is perfect for anyone who enjoys vintage time pieces and also makes a great gift.
Works to this watch included a full disassembly and cleaning and relubrication. All parts inside the movement appear original. The mainspring was replaced with a new one. The crown (and stem) has been replaced with an aftermarket crown as the original was *so small* it was nearly impossible to wind this thing without killing your fingers. The new crown looks the part. The original crown and attached stem is included. The crystal has been changed with new as well.
The watch works great otherwise and keeps good time following regulation.

While I will not alienate potential buyers, due to the under-market-price of this watch, I want to avoid selling to resellers. Please just let me know who you are and why you want it.
Please note: I am not a professional watchmaker. I am very much an amateur and therefor pricing reflects works performed but lower than market to account for the following things you should remember:
1. There is no guarantee of perfection
2. The watch is still sold “as-is”, with no returns
3. Vintage watches rarely keep perfect time over many days, especially if the mainspring is nearing the end of it’s wind.
4. The goal of these sales is to buy a watch, experience fixing it and giving it new life, and sell it under market price to fellow enthusiasts and/or fans of my shop. The lions share of these sales funds my watch buying fund to continue to offer fun watches for sale. Your purchase (hopefully) helps one less person wear a smart watch.
5. Buying a watch from me will gain you no “points” or favorability at Rosen Sound.
Warranty: I will be more than happy to check out this watch again if necessary within 3 years of purchase assuming you did not drop it or break it yourself somehow.
